Updated Procedure for Food Distribution
Because of the COVID-19 virus, our food distribution procedures have changed. While in normal circumstances, we welcome you into our lobby and encourage you to pick out breads and sweets, in this situation, it is not safe to do so.
For your health and safety, we will be handing out bags from what we call our Family Life Center doors. This entrance is located to the right of the lobby entrance on the side of the building. There are signs to direct you. Additionally, to limit the exposure for both you and our volunteers, beginning April 2, 2020 and moving forward until the situation improves, we will only be open on Thursdays from 9am-1pm for food distribution.
Because we will only be open on Thursday we will be giving out more food, like breads, sweets, etc. every visit. We may be open less but our intention is to be giving more. We understand there may be a need for additional help during these times so we have waived our normal limit of 1 grocery bag per month and you may get a bag every week if needed.
We intend to continue evening meals on Thursdays, but due to the risk of passing the virus, we can no longer eat together. We will, instead, provide drive-thru take-home meals from our main lobby entrance. All you need to do is pull up and we will hand you your meals.
The clothing room, which is such a blessing to so many, must unfortunately be closed during this time. We will open again when it is safe for our volunteers and neighbors.
We will continue to be here for our neighbors in modified ways. If you need us, please fill out the contact form below and we will do our best to meet your needs.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.” (John 14:27)
Come to the Table!
On Thursdays we have a worship service at 5:30pm. Those who attend are invited to join us for fellowship and supper in the Family Life Center following the service. The meal is free and there’s a seat at the table saved just for you!
Each household can receive one grocery bag per month.
Bread, milk and pastries are available on a first come first serve basis during those hours as well.
You can get milk once a week.
There is no limit to how many days you can receive bread and pastries.
by appointment only
You can schedule an appointment with our Clothing Room on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am -1pm.
Appointments are on Thursdays from 1:30pm-5:30pm and on the 1st Saturday of the month from 10am-12pm.
The Clothing Room is more than just a closet to shop. There are linens, household items and other goodies.
