Children's Ministry
Kids Konnect
- Wednesday night programming for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. Parents can sign in children in the lobby at 6pm and pick children up at 7pm in the lobby.
May 14 - 6pm Kidmin Meetings with VBS Prep & Planning and Safe Sanctuary Refresher training. - Safe Sanctuary Refreshers happen at beginning and take 15 minutes.
United Way Learn & Play Day is at FUMC on May 4, 2024.

Youth Mission Trip -- The youth are heading to Philadelphia on June 23-29 to serve with the Philly Project. We are in need of an additional adult female who is willing to drive and participate with us for the week. Please contact Collin if you are interested/available!

WIN Wish List - Win Victim Services is in need of an infant car seat, wood platform bed frames, and consumable items. If you purchase items from the website, please mark the quantity purchased. Monetary donations can be given to Pam Reed. Collected money will be used to purchase a car seat first. Donations of items can be placed in the box or given to Pam.
Team Haiti/Missions
Thank you for the support you have given to provide education and a daily meal to the children of the School of Hope and for providing security, shelter, food and education to the orphans at Kaendra’s Place. These ministries are still vitally functioning through all the turmoil in Haiti and continues to need our support as our treasury is becoming low. The expenses needing to be met on a monthly basis are as follows: $2800 for running the School of Hope which educates over 200 children (10 months/year) $1850 to provide the daily needs for 11 orphans at the School of Hope. A monthly transfer fee of $50 fo a monthly total of $4700. In addition, we pay rent for the building housing the School of Hope for $3000 a semester— $9000 a year. Annual expense for the Haiti Ministry is $59,200. Your ongoing generosity changes the world the children and families to whom we minister.

But that doesn’t mean you have to suffer by yourself. At GriefShare, you’ll find a safe, comforting place where you can talk with others about your grief. You’ll find support, direction, and guidance on how to make it through. GriefShare Support group meets at First Church on Mondays at 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm.
