Team Haiti/Missions

Thank you for the support you have given to provide education and a daily meal to the children of the School of Hope and for providing security, shelter, food and education to the orphans at Kaendra’s Place.  These ministries are still vitally functioning through all the turmoil in Haiti and continues to need our support as our treasury is becoming low.  The expenses needing to be met on a monthly basis are as follows: $2800 for running the School of Hope which educates over 200 children (10 months/year)  $1850 to provide the daily needs for 11 orphans at the School of Hope. A monthly transfer fee of $50 fo a monthly total of $4700.  In addition, we pay rent for the building housing the School of Hope for $3000 a semester— $9000 a year.  Annual expense for the Haiti Ministry is $59,200.  Your ongoing generosity changes the world the children and families to whom we minister.

Mission Central needs:

hand towels, travel size body wash, children's books, chapstick, 2.5 oz. bath soap, laundry detergent

Celebration of Life Services — A service for Deb Ewing will be held on April 27 at 1:00pm in the Family Life Center (FLC).

On April 28 at 3:30pm, a Celebration of Life service will be held for Irma Kaslow in the Renaissance Dining Room at Chambers Point.

A Thank You Note

Since last December we have been the recipient of love and support from our church family. While watching the livestream of both services last Sunday, Collin Moyer asked Gideon Hill and Owen Brubaker to demonstrate carrying a heavy load alone.

The challenge presented was when we help each other the load is much lighter. That is what you in this congregation have done for us. With cards , visits, words of encouragement and concern, meals, transportation, medical needs, and faithful prayers, you have blessed us again and again. We are so thankful we are part of this Beloved Family of God. Glory to God for flowing through you to us!

A Message from Deanna Nolder

Thank you so much for everyone that helped with Don’s Celebration of Life service and lunch. It took many willing hands to provide hospitality, parking lot guides, music, sound, set up and clean up, donation of cookies and serving food. You helped make it a very special time.
